Issued 4:00 PM NDT 22 April 2024 Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 p.m. NDT today intensifying low 992 mb located over
western Labrador.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday low 990 mb located over Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:53 PM NDT 22 April 2024 A deep low pressure system over Western Labrador will track northeast
through Labrador today and tonight to lie over the Labrador Sea by
midday Tuesday. Strong to gale force west to southwesterlies will
develop south of the low tonight and Tuesday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lake Melville, South Labrador Coast, and Mid Labrador Coast -
Hopedale and south.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, and South
Labrador Sea.
