northwest-southeast over the South Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Wednesday low 999 mb located southeast of
Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 p.m. NDT today ridge located over Quebec.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Wednesday ridge located on a line north-south
over central Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:59 PM NDT 18 June 2024 A trough of low pressure over the Labrador Sea will intensify into a
low pressure system tonight before moving to lie east of the Labrador
Sea on Wednesday. Gale force northwesterlies in the wake of this
system will diminish to strong tonight as it crosses the Labrador
Sea.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and Northwest Labrador Sea.
