Issued 4:00 PM NDT 5 May 2025 Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 p.m. NDT today low 996 mb located over the northeastern
East Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday departing low 1001 mb located southeast
of the East Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 p.m. NDT today low 995 mb located over northern Quebec.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday weakening low 1001 mb located over the
East Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 p.m. NDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
western Labrador.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Tuesday ridge located southeast of Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:58 PM NDT 5 May 2025 A weakening low pressure system over the Northeastern East Labrador
Sea will drift southeast of the district tonight. Meanwhile, a ridge
of high pressure will approach from the west to lie over the Labrador
Sea tonight. Strong to gale force northwesterlies can be expected
tonight between these features.

On Tuesday, another low pressure system approaching from Northern
Quebec will track across the Labrador Sea. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies can be expected behind this low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Mid
Labrador Coast, North Labrador Coast, and the Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Northwest Labrador Sea.
