Island.
At 4:00 a.m. NST Friday approaching low located over Quebec.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:23 PM NST 30 November 2023 An intense low pressure system over the Northwest Labrador Sea willtrack northward to lie over Baffin Island by this evening. Storm to
hurricane force southeasterlies are expected east of the low, while
gale to storm force northwesterlies are expected west of the low.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Northwest Labrador Sea. A gale warning is also in effect for East
Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Lake Melville, the Labrador coast, and South Labrador Sea.
