Greenland.
At 9:30 a.m. NST Monday approaching low 985 mb located over
central Quebec.
At 9:30 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over northern Quebec.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Monday ridge located on a line north-south over
Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:23 AM NST 28 February 2021 A trough of low pressure over the Labrador Sea will track eastwardaway from the district today. Gale force northwesterlies over
northern waters in the wake of the trough will gradually diminish
today as the feature departs.
On Monday, gale force southeasterlies will develop over northwestern
waters in the afternoon ahead of a low pressure system approaching
from Central Quebec.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast, Northwest Labrador Sea, and East Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
