Issued 4:00 AM NST 13 November 2019 Today Tonight and Thursday At 4:00 a.m. NST today deepening low 994 mb located northeast of
Anticosti Island.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Thursday low 960 mb located over the eastern
Northwest Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over Labrador Coast.
By 9:30 a.m. NST today dissipating ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the East Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:44 AM NST 13 November 2019 A low pressure system north of Anticosti Island will rapidly
intensify as it moves to lie over the Northwest Labrador Sea by
overnight tonight. Strong to gale force northeasterlies ahead of the
low will shift to gale to hurricane force northwesterlies in its
wake. Westerly winds will slowly diminish late on Thursday as the low
moves northwards into Davis Strait.

Marine interests are advised that hurricane force wind warnings are
in effect for the South Labrador Sea - northwestern half, Northwest
Labrador Sea and East Labrador Sea. Storm warnings are in effect for
the Labrador coast and South Labrador Sea - southeastern half. A gale
warning is in effect for Lake Melville.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Lake Melville and the Labrador coast.
