By 4:00 p.m. NDT Thursday trough located from Baffin Island to
the East Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT today ridge located over Labrador Coast.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Thursday ridge located east of the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:24 AM NDT 19 June 2024 A trough of low pressure over Northern Quebec this afternoon will
track eastward into the Labrador Sea on Thursday. Strong
southeasterlies ahead of the trough will shift to strong to gale
force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Labrador Sea.
