By 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight quasi-stationary low 984 mb located over
the Northwest Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:25 AM NDT 24 March 2025 A low pressure system over the East Labrador Sea will move to lieover the Northwest Labrador Sea today, where it will remain nearly
stationary into Tuesday. Strong to gale force northwesterlies are
expected to the north and west of the low, and gale force
southeasterlies to its east.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast and the Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the South Labrador Sea and Northwest Labrador Sea.
