over Labrador Sea.
At 4:00 p.m. NST today ridge located on a line north-south over
the East Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Friday dissipating ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:57 PM NST 4 December 2025 A trough of low pressure south of Greenland will approach from theeast tonight. Strong to gale force southeasterlies will develop to
the east of the trough Friday morning. As the trough intensifies,
strong to gale force north to northwesterlies will develop to its
west Friday afternoon.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Mid
Labrador Coast - north of Hopedale, North Labrador Coast, and the
Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Lake Melville, South Labrador Coast, and
East Labrador Sea.
