Marine Weather Statement
Issued 4:03 AM NST 11 December 2025 A trough of low pressure will remain nearly stationary over theLabrador Sea today and Friday. Strong to gale force northerlies will
develop to the north of the trough on Friday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Mid
Labrador Coast - north of Hopedale, North Labrador Coast - Saglek and
south, and Northwest Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Lake Melville, South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast -
Hopedale and south, and South Labrador Sea - southeastern half.
