Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 9:30 PM NDT 11 October 2026 Tonight and Monday At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight quasi-stationary low 961 mb located
southeast of Greenland.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight dissipating ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Labrador.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight high located southwest of Hudson Bay.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Monday high located over southeastern Hudson Bay.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:26 PM NDT 11 October 2026 An intense low pressure system southeast of Greenland will remain
nearly stationary through the forecast period. At the same time, a
strong area of high pressure will slowly build toward Labrador from
the west. Gale to storm force northwesterlies will persist over most
waters between these features.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters except Lake Melville.
