Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:49 AM NDT 11 April 2021 A low pressure system over the Burin Peninsula will move to lie eastof Cape Breton Island this evening and then slowly drift south of the
Grand Banks on Monday. Meanwhile, a ridge of high pressure will
remain near stationary over the Labrador Sea. Strong to gale force
southeast to northeasterly winds will persist over most waters
between the interaction of these two features.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except the South Coast, East Coast Cape St. Francis and south
and the Southern Grand Banks.
