Wind southwest 10 to 15 knots diminishing to light early this morning then increasing to east 15 to 20 this afternoon. Wind increasing to north 35 to 45 this evening and to north 45 to 55 overnight with gusts to 65 near Cape Race. Wind diminishing to north 35 Monday morning and to north 25 Monday evening.

Rain this afternoon tonight and Monday morning. Risk of thunderstorms this afternoon and this evening. Fog banks dissipating this evening.

Issued 3:00 AM NDT 19 September 2021 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today Post-tropical Storm Odette 999 mb located
at 40.8N 61.5W.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Monday Post-tropical Storm Odette 990 mb located
at 42.5N 53.5W.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT Monday approaching ridge located over western
Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:58 AM NDT 19 September 2021 At 3:00 AM NDT, post-tropical storm Odette is located near 40.8
North 61.5 west, or 200 nautical miles south-southwest of Sable
Island, with a minimum central pressure of 999 MB. Maximum sustained
winds are 45 knots and Odette is moving northeast at 17 knots.

Odette will gradually cross the Southern Grand Banks tonight and
Monday. Strong to gale force southerlies can be expected ahead of
this system, with gale to storm force northerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
South Coast, East Coast - Cape St. Francis and south, and the Grand
Banks. Gale warnings are in effect for Southwest Coast, East Coast -
north of Cape St. Francis, and Funk Island Bank.
