By 10:00 a.m. NDT Monday low 1004 mb located over Cape Breton
Island.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today trough from low located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Monday trough from low located on a line
northeast-southwest over Newfoundland.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today departing ridge located over the eastern
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:44 AM NDT 27 April 2025 A low pressure system over Maine will gradually cross the Maritimes
today to move south of Newfoundland Monday. An associated trough
extending northeast of the low will cross Newfoundland tonight and
Monday. Strong to gale force southeasterlies to southwesterlies will
spread across all waters today and tonight ahead of these features.
Winds will shift to strong to gale force northerlies to
northeasterlies on Monday in their wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle - western half.
