At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight low 991 mb located near the Great Lakes.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Saturday low 1001 mb located near Anticosti Island.
At 3:30 p.m. AST today ridge located over the Gulf of Maine.
By 3:30 p.m. AST Saturday ridge located east of the Marine District.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:59 AM AST 7 November 2025 An intense low pressure system northeast of Newfoundland willcontinue to track northeastward away from the region today. Strong to
gale force northwest winds will diminish in the wake of the low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
eastern shore - eastern half, Sable - eastern half, Fourchu,
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Northumberland - eastern
half, Gulf - Magdalen, and Anticosti.
Outlook for the start-up of the Southwest New Brunswick lobster
fishery.
