By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight trough located from Newfoundland to West
Scotian Slope.
At 3:00 a.m. ADT Monday departing trough located southeast of the
Gulf of Maine.
At 3:00 a.m. ADT Monday ridge located on a line north-south over
New England.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Monday ridge located over the southern Marine
District.

Issued 9:48 AM ADT 17 May 2026 A trough of low pressure will track across the district today andtonight. Strong southwest winds ahead of the trough will veer to
strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake before diminishing
on Monday as a ridge approaches.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf-Magdalen - northeastern half and Anticosti.
