Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. AST Tuesday ridge located over New England.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Tuesday ridge located over the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:16 PM AST 28 November 2022 A low pressure system just south of Newfoundland will continue
To track northeastward away from the marine district tonight.
Gale force southwesterly south and just north of the low shift
To strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau,
Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Northumberland Strait - eastern half,
Gulf Magdalen, and Anticosti. A freezing spray warning is in effect
for Anticosti.

Outlook for the start of the Southwest Nova lobster fishery.

Tuesday...

Lfa33: winds north 20 knots diminishing to 15 in the morning and to
to light early in the afternoon. Seas 2 metres diminishing to 1
Metre late in the afternoon.

Lfa34: winds north 20 to 25 knots diminishing to north 15 to 20 in
the morning and to light near noon. Seas 2 metres diminishing
To 1 late in the afternoon.

Wednesday...

Lfa33: winds light increasing to southeast 20 near noon and to
southeast 25 to 30 late in the afternoon. Seas 1 metre increasing
