By 3:00 a.m. ADT Tuesday low 990 mb located over Chaleur Bay.
At 3:30 p.m. ADT Tuesday low 990 mb located west of Anticosti
Island.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:33 PM ADT 14 October 2024 A low pressure system over Southern New Brunswick will tracknortheastward to lie west of Anticosti Island on Tuesday.
Over the Gulf of St. Lawrence waters and Cabot Strait, strong to gale
force easterlies will veer to strong southwesterlies overnight or
early Tuesday morning.
Over southern waters, strong to gale force south to southwesterlies
will diminish from west to east tonight and Tuesday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lurcher, Browns Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, Cabot Strait,
and all of the Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
