Issued 10:00 AM ADT 25 April 2024 Today Tonight and Friday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today low 998 mb located over Anticosti Island.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT today departing low 998 mb located west of
Newfoundland.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT today ridge located over southern Ontario.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Friday ridge located over New England.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:07 AM ADT 25 April 2024 An intense low pressure system over Anticosti Island will track
northeastward and east of the marine district by this afternoon.
Gale to storm force northwesterlies are expected in the wake of this
low for northern waters.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Anticosti. Gale warnings are in effect for Cabot Strait - northern
half, Northumberland Strait, Gulf - Magdalen, and Chaleur - Miscou.
