Issued 8:00 PM NDT 15 May 2026 Tonight and Saturday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight intensifying low 1000 mb located east of
Cape Breton Island.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Saturday low 989 mb located over Funk Island Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:40 PM NDT 15 May 2026 A low pressure system approaching from the southwest will cross
Newfoundland on Saturday before tracking over Funk Island Bank
Saturday evening. Strong to gale force east to southeasterlies over
southern waters ahead of the low will shift to strong to gale force
west to northwesterlies behind it on Saturday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast, and the Grand Banks.
