Issued 3:30 PM NDT 22 September 2026 Tonight and Wednesday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today intensifying low 1002 mb located over the
northern Grand Banks.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Wednesday low 970 mb located northeast of the
Marine District.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today ridge located over Quebec.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Wednesday ridge located on a line east-west over
the southern Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:24 PM NDT 22 September 2026 A low pressure system over the Northern Grand Banks will intensify as
it tracks northeastward to lie northeast of the marine district
tonight. Strong to gale force north to northwesterlies in its wake
will diminish on Wednesday as the low moves away.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Funk Island Bank, Northern Grand Banks and Southeastern Grand Banks.
