Issued 3:30 PM NST 13 January 2025 Tonight and Tuesday At 3:30 p.m. NST today low 970 mb located east of the Grand Banks.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Tuesday departing low 967 mb located northeast
of Funk Island Bank.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today ridge located from Ungava Bay to the
Maritimes.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Tuesday ridge located from Labrador to the
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:28 PM NST 13 January 2025 A deep low pressure system east of the Grand Banks will move to lie
northeast of the marine district overnight before continuing off into
the North Atlantic on Tuesday. Strong to gale force north to
northwesterlies over most waters will slowly diminish as the low
moves away.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, Northern Grand Banks and
Southeastern Grand Banks.
