By 3:00 a.m. NDT Saturday low 990 mb located south of the Burin
Peninsula.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:56 AM NDT 25 October 2024 A low pressure system southwest of Laurentian Fan will slowly tracknortheastward to cross Eastern Newfoundland Saturday morning. Strong
to gale force south to southeasterly winds will spread across waters
east of the low's track today, while strong to gale force
northeasterlies will spread across waters west of it. Winds will
shift to strong to gale force west to northwesterly on Saturday in
the wake of the low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
