Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:19 PM NST 27 February 2024 Strong to gale force south to southwesterlies are forecast to spread
over the district on Wednesday as an intense low pressure system
tracks northeastwards across Quebec while a ridge of high pressure
drifts south of the Grand Banks.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank,
and Funk Island Bank.
