At 3:30 p.m. NST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the Northeast Coast of Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Friday departing ridge located east of the Marine
District.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:26 PM NST 5 December 2024 A low pressure system over New Brunswick will track northeastwardthrough the Gulf of St. Lawrence tonight to lie over the Mid Labrador
Coast by Friday evening. Gale to storm force southeasterlies will
spread across all waters tonight ahead of the low. Winds will shift
to strong to gale force southwesterlies on Friday in the wake of the
low.
Marine interests are advised storm warnings are in effect for all
waters.
