Issued 3:30 PM NST 20 February 2024 Tonight and Wednesday At 3:30 p.m. NST today quasi-stationary low 959 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today ridge located over Quebec.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Wednesday ridge located over the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:30 PM NST 20 February 2024 An intense low pressure system will remain quasi-stationary southeast
of Greenland. As a result, strong to gale force westerlies are
expected over most waters through the majority of the forecast
period. Winds will diminish late Wednesday as a ridge approaches.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, and Southwestern
Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the Southern Grand Banks.
