Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 3:30 PM NDT 11 April 2021 Tonight and Monday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today low 999 mb located east of Cape Breton
Island.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Monday low 1000 mb located south of the Grand
Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located over northern
Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:22 PM NDT 11 April 2021 A low pressure system east of Cape Breton Island will slowly drift
south of the Grand Banks on Monday. Meanwhile, a ridge of high
pressure will remain near stationary over the Labrador Sea. Strong to
gale force east to northeasterly winds will persist over most waters
between the interaction of these two features.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except the South Coast, East Coast Cape St. Francis and south
and the Southern Grand Banks.
