Isle Bank.
At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over the Grand Banks.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Sunday departing ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Grand Banks.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:45 PM NDT 21 May 2022 A low pressure system will stall just southeast of the Grand Bankstonight before drifting away southward on Sunday. Strong to gale
force north to northeasterlies are expected over the Southeastern
Grand Banks tonight with the low.
A trough of low pressure over Labrador will generate strong to gale
force southwesterlies over Belle Isle Bank tonight as it approaches.
Winds will diminish on Sunday as the trough moves east of Belle Isle
Bank.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank and Southeastern Grand Banks.
