Issued 10:00 AM NST 28 February 2021 Today Tonight and Monday At 10:00 a.m. NST today departing ridge located over the eastern
Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today deepening low 999 mb located over Cabot
Strait.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Monday low 997 mb located over the southeastern
Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. NST Monday approaching low 984 mb located over the
Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:53 AM NST 28 February 2021 A low pressure system over the Cabot Strait will move to lie over the
Southeastern Grand Banks Monday morning. Southeasterly gales ahead of
the low will shift to gale force west to northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast, and the Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are
In effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast, and
Belle Isle Bank.
