Wind increasing to southeast 45 to 55 Tuesday morning then becoming southwest 45 near noon Tuesday with gusts to 55 along the Newfoundland coast. Wind becoming northwest 45 to 55 Tuesday evening.

Snow or rain beginning this evening becoming rain overnight then flurries Tuesday afternoon. Fog patches forming Tuesday morning and dissipating Tuesday afternoon.

Temperatures plus 2 falling to minus 3 Tuesday evening.

Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 3:30 PM NST 23 November 2020 Tonight and Tuesday At 3:30 p.m. NST today intensifying low 1005 mb located over Maine.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Tuesday deepening low 974 mb located over
southeastern Labrador.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today high located over the eastern Grand Banks.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing high located east of the
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:26 PM NST 23 November 2020 A low pressure system will track across New Brunswick this evening
and move into the Labrador Sea Tuesday evening. Strong to gale force
south to southeasterlies will develop later this evening ahead of the
low and will further increase to gale to storm force overnight.
Winds will veer to gale force southwest to northwesterly in the wake
of the low late Tuesday.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
all waters.
