By 10:00 a.m. NST Sunday departing ridge located east of the
Marine District.
At 3:30 p.m. NST today trough located over the Maritimes.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Sunday trough located on a line east-west over
Funk Island Bank.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:43 AM NST 14 December 2019 A trough of low pressure will approach from the southwest today andwill slowly track northward across the marine district tonight and
Sunday. Gale force southeasterlies ahead of the trough will shift to
gale force south to southwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Belle Isle Bank.
