By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday quasi-stationary low 996 mb located
over southern Laurentian Fan.
At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight quasi-stationary ridge located over
southern Labrador.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:50 PM NDT 13 April 2021 An area of low pressure will remain nearly stationary just southwestof the district through Wednesday. Meanwhile, a ridge of high
pressure will remain nearly stationary over Southern Labrador. Strong
to gale force east to northeasterly winds will persist over most
waters between these two features tonight before diminishing over
northern waters on Wednesday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Northeast Coast,
and Belle Isle Bank.
