Issued 3:00 AM NDT 11 April 2021 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today departing low 990 mb located southeast ofthe Grand Banks.
At 3:00 a.m. NDT today trough located over the Avalon Peninsula.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight low 999 mb located east of Cape Breton
Island.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:41 AM NDT 11 April 2021 A trough of low pressure extending from the Southeastern Grand Banksto Northeast Gulf will strengthen into a low pressure system this
afternoon and move to lie east of Cape Breton Island this evening.
Strong to gale force southeast to northeasterlies over eastern waters
will spread over the gulf today as the low strengthens. Gales will
spread over the Southwest Coast on Monday evening.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except the South Coast, East Coast Cape St. Francis and south
and the Southern Grand Banks.
