of the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:55 PM NDT 7 September 2026 A low pressure system just northeast of Newfoundland will continue
northeastward across the Belle Isle Bank tonight before departing out
to sea on Tuesday. Strong to gale force northeasterlies ahead of the
low will veer to strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island
Bank.
