Issued 3:00 AM NST 10 December 2025 Today Tonight and Thursday At 3:00 a.m. NST today low 956 mb located south of Greenland.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing low 956 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today ridge located south of the Maritimes.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Thursday ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Funk Island Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today deepening low 991 mb located near the
Great Lakes.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Thursday deepening low 985 mb located over
New Brunswick.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:43 AM NST 10 December 2025 An intense low pressure system south of Greenland will continue to
slowly track northeastward away from the district today. Strong to
gale force west to northwesterlies will persist in the low's wake
until this evening.

A second low pressure system will approach the district from the west
tonight and track into the Gulf of St. Lawrence on Thursday. Strong
to gale force southwesterlies will develop over most waters ahead of
this system.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Coast, Northeast Coast - Cape St. John and south, Belle Isle
Bank, Funk Island Bank, and the Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au Port
- northwestern half, Northeast Coast - north of Cape St. John, and
Belle Isle Bank.
