Issued 10:00 AM NST 19 January 2022 Today Tonight and Thursday At 10:00 a.m. NST today low 980 mb located over southern Labrador
Sea.
By 3:30 p.m. NST today low 983 mb located north of Labrador Sea.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over Quebec.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Thursday ridge located over Newfoundland.

At 10:00 a.m. NST Thursday approaching low 1006 mb located near
Anticosti Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:53 AM NST 19 January 2022 A low pressure system located over the Labrador Sea will move off to
the north today. Strong to gale force west to southwesterlies will
diminish as the low moves away.

On Thursday a low pressure system approaching from the west will
track over the Gulf of St. Lawrence during the morning and reach the
Belle Isle Bank by evening. Strong to gale force southwesterlies will
develop ahead of its track.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, and Belle Isle Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, East Coast, Northeast
Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.
