Issued 3:30 PM AST 25 February 2021 Tonight and Friday At 3:30 p.m. AST today low 986 mb located north of Banquereau.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Friday departing low 978 mb located northeast
of Newfoundland.

At 8:00 p.m. AST Friday approaching ridge located west of the
Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:17 PM AST 25 February 2021 A low pressure system north of Banquereau will track northeastward to
lie east of Newfoundland tonight. Gale to storm force westerlies
south of the system shift to gale to storm force northwesterlies in
its wake.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan and Cabot Strait. Gale warnings are in
effect for all remaining waters. Freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, southwestern shore, LaHave
Bank, eastern shore, Sable, Fourchu, Banquereau, Cabot Strait and all
Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
