Fan.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Saturday low 978 mb located over the Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT Saturday departing low 986 mb located over the
northern Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:47 AM ADT 24 April 2026 A low pressure system southeast of Laurentian Fan will track slowly
northward across the Grand Banks today and Saturday. Strong to gale
force northerlies are expected over eastern waters today. Strong
northwesterlies are expected over most waters tonight and Saturday.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Laurentian Fan - southeastern half.
