Issued 3:00 AM ADT 25 October 2021 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 3:00 a.m. ADT today low 986 mb located northeast of Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. ADT today departing low 986 mb located east of
Newfoundland.

By 3:30 p.m. ADT Tuesday approaching trough from 985 mb low located
southwest of Georges Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the Gulf of Maine.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Tuesday weakening ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Nova Scotia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:44 AM ADT 25 October 2021 Strong to gale force westerly to northwesterly winds over most of the
region will slowly diminish today as a low northeast of Newfoundland
pulls out to sea.

On Tuesday, a second low pressure system will intensify southeast of
Cape Cod, with a trough extending well to its east. This trough will
approach the southwestern marine district causing gale to storm force
easterly winds late on Tuesday for western waters. These gale to
storm force winds will likely affect all southern waters on
Wednesday.

Marine interest are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank and West Scotian Slope. Gale warnings are in effect for
all remaining waters except Chaleur - Miscou - western half and
Anticosti.
