By 8:00 p.m. AST Sunday ridge located over Georges Bank.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:25 AM AST 7 December 2019 A low pressure system over Banquereau will track eastward out of themarine district this afternoon. Strong to gale force southwesterly
winds south of the low shift to strong to gale force northwesterlies
in its wake.
The cold northwesterly flow will bring freezing spray to Gulf waters.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Scotian Slope, Banquereau - southeastern half and Laurentian
Fan.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Gulf Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.
