Issued 3:00 AM AST 29 November 2021 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 3:00 a.m. AST today trough located over the Gulf of Maine.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Tuesday trough located from East Scotian Slope
to the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

By 3:30 p.m. AST Tuesday trough located from the Grand Banks
to Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:51 AM AST 29 November 2021 An approaching trough will move across the region today to lie from
East Scotian Slope to Gulf of St. Lawrence tonight. Strong to gale
force south to southeasterlies ahead of the trough this morning will
spread east through the day. Strong to gale force northwesterlies
will develop in the wake of the trough tonight and Tuesday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
regions except Fundy, Grand Manan, Northumberland Strait - western
half, Chaleur - Miscou and Anticosti - western half.

Outlook for the start-up of the Southwest Nova lobster fishery.

Tuesday..Winds northwesterly 25 to 30 knots backing to west 25 in the
morning then to westerly 15 to 20 in the evening. Seas 2 to 3 metres
becoming 1 to 2 in the evening.

Wednesday..Wind southwesterly 15 to 20 becoming southwest 25 in the
afternoon and then west 15 in the evening. Seas near 1 metre in the
morning becoming 2 metres late in the day.

Thursday..Winds southwesterly 15 becoming southwesterly 25 in the
afternoon. Seas 1 to 2 metres.

Tuesday..Winds northwesterly 25 to 30 knots backing to west 25 in the
afternoon and to west 15 to 20 in the evening. Seas 2 to 3 metres
dropping to 1 to 2 in the evening, except 1 to 2 over Grand Manan.

Wednesday..Wind westerly 15 becoming 20 knots in the afternoon then
west 15 in the evening. Seas 1 to 2 metres.

Thursday..Winds southwesterly 15 becoming southwesterly 25 in the
afternoon. Seas near 2 metres.
