Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 10:00 AM AST 11 November 2025 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:00 a.m. AST today low 984 mb located over eastern Quebec.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight departing low 984 mb located over Labrador.

At 10:00 a.m. AST today trough from low located from the Gaspe
Peninsula to West Scotian Slope.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight trough located from Cabot Strait to
Laurentian Fan.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:45 AM AST 11 November 2025 A low pressure system, currently over Eastern Quebec, with an intense
trough to the south will track northeasterly as the intensifying
trough pushes eastward over the slope waters. Gale to storm force
southerlies ahead of the trough will become strong to gale force
westerlies developing in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Laurentian Fan - eastern half. Gale warnings are in effect for all
remaining waters except Fundy and Grand Manan.
