At 9:30 a.m. NDT today trough from low located on a line
northwest-southeast over Nova Scotia.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Friday trough from low located on a line east-west
over southeastern Labrador.
At 9:30 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
central Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
north-south over the East Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:15 AM NDT 22 April 2021 An approaching low pressure system will stall over the GaspéPeninsula tonight before drifting eastward along the Quebec Lower
North Shore on Friday. Gale force southeasterly winds will sweep
across most southern waters tonight ahead of an intense trough
associated with this low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, and South Labrador Sea.
