Issued 4:00 AM NST 26 February 2024 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 a.m. NST today departing low 982 mb located east of
Greenland.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today intensifying trough located over Ungava Bay.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Tuesday deepening low 1002 mb located over the
East Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line north-south over
the Northwest Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NST today departing ridge located over the East
Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:44 AM NST 26 February 2024 A trough of low pressure will approach the district from the west,
intensifying into a low pressure system as it crosses the Labrador
Sea on Tuesday. Strong to gale force northwesterlies are briefly
expected behind the low as it moves into the East Labrador Sea
Tuesday afternoon.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
