Marine District.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT today cold front located over Quebec.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Monday cold front located over northern Labrador.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
the East Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT today departing ridge located east of the Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:41 AM NDT 19 April 2026 A low pressure system is forecast to form over the Maritimes this
evening and cross Labrador tonight before moving to lie over the
Labrador Sea by Monday afternoon. Gale to storm force southerlies
ahead of the low shift to strong to gale force northwesterlies behind
it.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea. A gale warning is in effect for Northwest Labrador
Sea.
