Over open water freezing spray beginning overnight and ending Wednesday afternoon.

Temperatures zero falling to minus 8 to minus 2 overnight then rising to zero Wednesday afternoon.

Issued 4:00 AM NST 19 January 2021 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 4:00 a.m. NST today trough located on a line northwest-southeast
over the Northwest Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Wednesday trough located on a line north-south
over the Northwest Labrador Sea.

By 4:00 a.m. NST Wednesday approaching low 972 mb located over
Funk Island Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:36 AM NST 19 January 2021 A trough of low pressure over the Northwest Labrador Sea will remain
nearly stationary today before moving westwards towards the Labrador
coast on Wednesday as a low pressure system approaches from the
south. Gale to storm force east to southeasterlies are forecast to
the east of this trough, while strong to gale force northwesterlies
will develop to its west on Wednesday.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters except Lake Melville.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, South Labrador
Sea, and Northwest Labrador Sea - southwestern half.
