Marine Weather Statement
Issued 6:00 PM NST 12 January 2025 A low pressure system east of Belle Isle Bank will continue to moveeast and weaken tonight. Gale force northerlies to northwesterlies
will gradually diminish over most waters this evening, but will
remain strong to gale force over the East Labrador Sea through
Monday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Mid Labrador Coast, North Labrador Coast, Northwest
Labrador Sea - northwestern half, and East Labrador Sea.
