Issued 9:30 AM NST 29 January 2023 Today Tonight and Monday At 9:30 a.m. NST today trough located on a line northeast-southwestover the Northwest Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Monday trough located east of the Marine District.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:16 AM NST 29 January 2023 A trough of low pressure over the Labrador Sea will continue to trackeastwards today. Strong south to southwesterlies ahead of the trough
will veer to gale force northwesterlies in its wake. Winds will
diminish on Monday as the trough departs east of the marine district.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all regions with open water.
