Issued 4:45 PM AST 8 November 2024 A low pressure system will track across northern waters tonight andSaturday. On Saturday, in the wake of this system, strong to gale
force northerly winds are forecast and are expected to diminish
Saturday night.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Fundy, Northumberland Strait - western half,
Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.
Outlook for the start-up of the Southwest New Brunswick lobster
fishery.
Monday..Wind south 15 knots increasing to southwest 20 in the
afternoon and diminishing to southwest 15 in the evening. Seas less
than 1 metre increasing to 1 to 2 metres in the afternoon.
Tuesday..Winds west 10 to 15 knots increasing to west 20 in the
