By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight trough located from Newfoundland to East
Scotian Slope.
At 3:00 a.m. ADT Friday departing trough located east of
Newfoundland.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:37 AM ADT 10 September 2026 A trough of low pressure over Maine will cross the marine districttoday and depart to the east early Friday morning. Strong to gale
force southwesterlies will develop ahead of the trough and shift to
strong northwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope, East Scotian Slope,
and Chaleur-Miscou - western half.
