of Maine.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight ridge located on a line north-south over
the central Marine District.

At 3:00 a.m. AST Sunday approaching trough located over the
Great Lakes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:52 AM AST 9 December 2023 Strong to gale force northwesterly winds in the wake of an intense
low pressure system northeast of Newfoundland will diminish today as
a ridge of high pressure moves in from the west.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Banquereau and Laurentian Fan.
