At 10:00 a.m. ADT today low 1002 mb located over southern Labrador.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Friday low 978 mb located over Labrador Sea.

Issued 9:50 AM ADT 10 October 2024 A low pressure system north of the marine district will intensify asit moves slowly across Labrador tonight and into the Labrador Sea on
Friday. Strong to gale force west to northwest winds will spread
across the marine district later tonight and Friday.
Marine interests are advised gale warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Cabot Strait, and all Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
Outlook for the start-up of the Upper Bay of Fundy lobster fishery.
Saturday...Westerly 25 knots increasing to 35 to 40 near noon then
diminishing to westerly 25 to 30 in the evening. Seas near 2 metres.
Sunday...Westerly 20 to 25 knots diminishing to 15 knots later in the
afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 metres subsiding to 1 to 2 metres.
Monday...Winds light becoming southeast 15 knots near noon increasing
to southeast 20 to 25 knots in the afternoon. Seas near 1 metre.
